Im 16 and I personally like the simpler kind of games. My family and I particularly love board games (and not monopoly or trouble). We own a variety of rare ones, including a board game called Battle Masters which (I believe) is fairly expensive to obtain and is a lot like Wesnoth. Some of my favori...

I will agree with you that no game is perfectly balanced. But this game is balanced to the extent that it will never have a significant outcome when two or more people are playing. As long as both know what they are doing, the game is going to be even and it will ultimately come down to who played t...

The way I see it, if beginners get used to using the overpowered version of the Drakes, then they are going to have a harder time adjusting the Default Era Drakes. I believe this would be much harder than simply learning the Default Era Drakes. As for me, I wasn't too good with the Drakes but I just...

It could indeed be actual units that are moving. But I was more thinking stationary locations on the map in which it would be smart to protect or attack. You wouldn't just be sending out all out assaults on people because there would actually be a reason to leave some units behind to defend. It woul...

I have not tried the game and I'm not sure if this is possible (I have very little grasp of programming), but I think for the economy it would be cool to have some sort of supply line system. Whereas you could have a major supply line and then lose it all because some enemy attacked a link in it. Ag...

The South Guard campgain bug...
Wasnt sure if I should post here or campaign feedback so i decided here... I was playing through The South Guard (im a noob) on the easiest difficulty. When I got to the missions "Into the Depths" I started with my usual host of characters (unmounted commander, elvish shyde, and white mage...

question about shading
Ive been working on shading and im not sure about this particular case. If it is an orb (shiny) being hit by light from a particular direction, should I have or not have the bright highlight around the edge of the orb. It seems to me that the our eyes would interpret there to be light around the orb...

Im completely new to this...
Ive always thought that sprite animating would be something to get into so I decided to start with wesnoth which a favorite game of mine. This is after I messed around a bit and is basically a skin-job with the added banner.
