Re: Zoom suggestion
Thanks for your suggestions! Do you zoom because you touch a screen with another finger, or does it happen when you drag one finder over the screen? If it's the latter, then it's a bug. If it's the former, well... We may introduce an advanced option to do so. I think the dire wolf suggestion belongs...

Re: Crash when opening add-on panel
Thank you for reporting it! I am sorry for leaving this issue rot for the last month. My work happened. I'll get back to it, hopefully, the next weekend. Still unsure how to debug it, as I cannot reproduce it. I think I'll need to build a special version and work with people who can reproduce it on ...

Re: Crash when opening add-on panel
I understand that you cannot access Addons screen, but maybe you can remember which was the last addon you installed? This might be the key. Also, which language do you use to play? Another question, does it crash immediately after Connect button, or after it downloads addons list (that is, the wind...

Re: iOS support thread
(sigh). Indeed. Redesigning Wesnoth GUI is a pain, and non-rectangular areas are outright impossible. Redesigning it for phones was a lot of effort, and the design is still very buggy. I don't know if I ever can fix it for the notch. So far, at least, it can be flipped to the left or right side. One...

Re: iOS support thread
Thank you for the kind words! AppStore is a kind of a side project for Wesnoth, and it doesn't have a lot of translators to work on. Though... why not. We can make it a separate text resource and ask translators to translate it as well. I need to register this as a work item. All languages are inclu...

Re: Crash when opening add-on panel
Sorry for delay. I spent quite some time trying to figure out why I cannot symbolicate the crash report (i.e. match to my locally stored technical data). Then I found out that it's from internal version 85, while the latest release as of July, was the version 89. Add-ons screen crash was already fix...

Re: Crash when opening add-on panel
Thanks to Straff's attached crash report, I know what is the problem there.
This may be deep in the core of the project, a network operation that's fine on desktop OS but takes too long on iOS (which is not permitted).
Still investigating.

Re: iOS support thread
Thank you very much for a detailed diagnostics!
A 1.14.14 update is planned for this weekend, will take a stab at this problem.

Re: Backups
Very sorry to hear. Not yet. Let me ask for some hints. Can you see the saves in Files app, Wesnoth/saves folder? BTW, an awkward workaround for this problem is to download saves in Files. Is there anything unusual with your device? Is it running out of storage or iCloud space? Is there some other p...

Thanks for reporting!
Will look into it.
Our iCloud synchronization is very basic, it may behave strangely.
Were your saves gone on a single device, or were they synchronized from another device?
