In the Konrad campaign I got to the stage where you start south and have to go north, in the middle is an orcish base and north is a small undead base. I can't really beat that one without losing a good unit (if I do I always reset), so I gave up on it for now. Don't reset if you lose a good unit. ...

It can be interesting for random maps, but random maps tend not to be the best anyway. Good point. I should have addressed that but I didn't want to bring random maps into it because I didn't think you'd be able to use custom win conditions with random maps. How about:

Mushrooms are spongy and do not reflect sound as well as the usual terrain. Thus the bat, which relies on echo-location, finds it difficult to navigate.
