I partially like the edit, the style is as mentioned more fitting to the campaign. However it is a bit crude. The shadows look spotty and his face looks dirty. The shadow on his right horn base is sloppy and same goes with the highlights on the helmet itself. The shirt looks good. The braids look ve...

Phew, that was a lot of work - here's Hamel finally shaded! Note: The image is 2.1 MB and not sized down from my working size ... Therefore I have only posted a few snippets here. Go to my site to view the full picture. Some details could probably be omitted when downscaling the image, and the gold ...

Maeglin Dubh: I see what he means, but I wanted him to look battleready, not just letting the arm hang down weighted by the hammer, rather holding it up with his muscles.. Sgt. Groovy: Good comparison. I'll probably do them over again later as I do want to get better at drawing. gdou: I see what you...

Considering you will only have 3 stages, I suggest you use Soldat -> Feldwebel -> Leutnant If you had 4 levels though; Soldat -> Feldwebel -> Fähnrich -> Leutnant or Soldat -> Feldwebel -> Leutnant -> Captain To further explain what I have said regarding the rank Oberleutnant, consider the follow...

SkeletonCrew: Yep, the shield looks too new. I have left it that way because I might add some logo to it - in case Taurus wants that. The hammer arm has a few issues, I'll work on that as well as the hammer itself. Darth Fool: Yeah I guess I could add a slight curve across the torso, though it was m...

That's a well-done inking job. :) Thanks! Getting positive feedback makes me motivated, so although I spent all yesterday on inking Hamel, I felt like putting in some work today as well. Here's a few dwarven fighters that I'll ink and add to the background with Hamel. Do comment :) Well, back to Ha...

Thanks for the link, it is really helpful ! :) I see that the oberleutnant rank exist (between leutnant and hauptmann, I think I'll use this one instead, as I first used it, what do you think ? If you must use the oberleutnant you should make that the top rank, and have leutnant as stage 2. But aga...

Maybe slightly off topic: Wouldn't it be a cool feature if the yeti blow, when hit, causes the unit to get 'slapped back' one hex? Though it would require some modifications to code I think it wouldn't be necessary with a falling / flying frame for every unit. They could just be pushed back, and of ...

Here's the inked Hamel. Hopefully there's some good as it took me all day literally . Anyway please comment, especially if you have constructive comments about the hands... The knuckles don't seem right, so I tried two different things. On his left hand I used just heavy shadow (thinking that could ...

Oberstleutnant is actually a higher rank than Hauptmann (Captain) You should study this page to get it right, but although Oberstleutnant sounds nice it's very unlikely rank for a combat unit. You should probably replace it with Fähnrich or Leutnant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Army_rank_...
