Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS

I prefer the staff as well simply because it works better with the whole wandering mage theme she has going on.

Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS

She isn’t even part of an organized order of magi because there isn’t any such post-Fall unless you count the Iron Council. She operates completely independently of any tribe or anything of the sort. And yes, I definitely do not think an alternate version for her Silver Mage advancement is worth the...

Perhaps she appears too young to be a powerful magi.

Re: [mainline] Melee "marksman"

Another point against “master”/“mastery”: the Master at Arms will not have the weapon special, so its name will become vaguely ironic. :P

Re: [mainline] Melee "marksman"

“Prowess” and “proficiency” were suggested before and both sound better and less generic (in purely aesthetic terms) than “master” in my opinion.

Re: Sudipta's various questions...

I recall a boss battle scenario where u have to fight a powerful being of light, who is protected by some kind of magic and u have to first dispel that magic before u can hurt her directly. Most of the enemies in the campaign were demons or dark being iirc so this one stood out. My question is whic...

Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS

I was going to say before Vultraz posted that I’d really prefer Melusand since she’s more of a unique character (Esanoo can die/be replaced by other merfolk after his introduction), and while she only speaks for one scenario, the impact she makes on the plot is much more significant. In any case the...

Re: Cannot upload screenshots to Wiki

Long story short, I was asked for a long time to add the option to allow admins to upload files to the wiki, then nobody ever made use of it or even mentioned the matter again after I enabled it. At some point last year I was going to propose uploading all existing hotlinked images to the wiki to so...

Re: nemaara's art

Uh, nemaara? Quick question if you're reading this. I don't remember which of the ten symbols, belongs to Uriah. The banners in the editor look like it's the yellow sun, but I'm not sure. I didn’t know nemaara was using the banners from IftU and AtS. Those feature a sigil unique to Uria II which sh...

Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS

That seems unlikely since Xia’el is intentionally brown-haired whereas Elynia, the Stereotypical Mainline Epoch Elf™, and the Eloh draft are all light-haired.

Re: Lordbob's commissionned work: UtBS

I did not think she was one, but from what I remember she isn't actually a goddess of the elves and maybe not even from this world. Since the sequel campaigns have these cyborg enemies and/or protagonists (I've only seen the portraits), I thought it could be a nice tie-in to suggest some of that te...

Re: Mainline campaign sprites and animations needed

As an aside, it seems to me that Nym is kind of a blank slate at the moment since LordBob has not posted anything about her yet. It’s equally possible he has specific plans for her, so it would probably be best to wait for his drawing or consult with him. I do have to point out that she won’t be the...

Re: Question : How does an UMC campaign become part of mainline campaigns?

Or download it from here:
http://files.wesnoth.org/addons/1.9/The ... es.tar.bz2

You will need a program that can read tarballs (for Windows there's 7-zip or Winrar or Winzip) in order to unpack the The_Dark_Hordes folder in it into your add-ons dir.
