You should subscribe to the internationalization mailing list if you haven’t done so already, since that’s where we post announcements relevant to translators including string freeze and release dates.

When playing my own campaigns I assign custom names to units that have acquired special items (and which usually start out nameless because they are almost always undead) so I can find them and tell them apart from similar units in the recall list faster.

To clarify, Wesnoth has used the GNU GPL v2 exclusively (with the option to use a later version instead) for the entirety of its history until 1.13.x, and even now there’s only a few bits in mainline that are actually CC BY-SA.

To clarify, I fixed the issue just a minute before posting, so if you were trying to login before that you would definitely not be able to log in at all.

We had a brief maintenance window about 30-40 minutes ago which apparently caused the MP server to become confused and lose access to the database. It should be fixed now. For Steam it’s just a matter of right clicking on Wesnoth in your library, choosing Properties, then in General choosing Set Launch Options and adding --all-translations in the textbox provided.

There is also a button on the bottom left of the Load Game dialog that takes you right to the saves folder, since version 1.13.14.
