thunderguards are hard to counter - they got high resistances, high defence values, decent health and deal good melee as well as ranged damage.

- they are unrelieable attackers, but their return damage as awesome

if there is the possibility to get it on a farm afterwards mages burn slayers considerably well.

again: ideal counter unit: the Lich - undead => immune to poison - life stealing melee AND magical ranged - sad they'r level 3

What's the most decent knalgan counter to ghosts?

They got no fire and no holy attacks - i always thought thunderers are pretty decent even with reduced damage ghosts are in sever problems when hit by those guns.

i don't get u .... both got no magic attack or marksmanship, so units with high defence values are a problem for me. - what does this have to do with clumsy heavy melee?

medhieval war mounts have had a fantastic training - so if they are physically able to do such moves i see no problem in this animation... Keep in mind - a knight has had his life in a horse's hands - hm hoves. if it wouldn't follow his commands he couldn't ifght savely - also specatcular movements ...

don't want to be offencive in any was, but do you try to draft pretty patters or to design maps? I bet it takes more time to fill the unnecessary surroundings than to do the actual map. map 3 seems jolly strange. - the players are very close to eachother, so the battle will take place between te cas...

I actually like the idea - it would get the "Heavy infantry encounters a 1 hex river" situation less annoying

- you mostly have got at least a few points saved then and don't lose a full turn crossing difficult hexes
