advertising gets out of hand
Today i have seen an ad from a partner agency on the site. What comes next? Poker? Viagra? I find it to be a little bit too much for wesnoth, where mostly teens surf around.

Re: REQUEST - metal sparkle animation, example included
cool! I think i will try to make one, since it seems to be quite easy to do. I wouldn't rotate it as much, because it should look like the sun is reflecting on something shiny, but a reflection would not rotate, if the reflecting piece is completly unmoving. A little rotation is good, because it mak...

Re: Not dead.
First off let me say congrats! i hope he/she is born strong and healthy. Seconded, though anything to the contrary is unlikely. Have you seen pictures of West? Contemporary viking. I can imagine West on the battlefield, shouting war cries and laying waste to vast legions of invasive barbarians simp...

Re: Kitty's Merpeople
Looks good to me. Only her left eye brow goes a bit too much down and i would find those things on her shoulders a bit uncomphtable when swimming, but this is not the reality, it is just a portrait.

I have got mine for one euro from the e... and it was used, only six inches and with a serial cable instead of usb.melinath wrote: I didn't realize a graphics pad could be so cheap... maybe I'll get one eventually, but for now that would take too long. I'll give printing it out a shot.

The screenshot is no proof. Maybe, melinath is just multilingual, and likes to play in german language to teach himself/herself.Thanatos wrote: Und spätestens jetzt hab ich die Bestätigung für meine Vermutung, woher Du kommst.

Re: WSAS: Making a start
It is overall a very good portrait. I see no obvious flaws, which need to be changed, so i want to thank spaceinvader for it. I love the shiny metal and the flames!

Re: Outlaws! New: female Outlaw/Fugitive
This is perfect enough. My critic was only a very minor issue, which is now fixed with the shadows. You are absolutely right, not to overdo every little detail, because of the work ahead of you. Your art is now so good, that you can almost say the people in the frame are alive.

Re: Outlaws! New: female Outlaw/Fugitive
I think the club looks too much painted on. This means, it seems to have no weight on the shoulder. The lenght is okay for me. Would it be possible to add some wrinkles in her cape? Btw. your art is absolutely awesome, kitty!

Re: Monolith/menhir redos.
I did two runestones for fun an critics. They should be made of marble stone. They are probably too bright, i will tone it down, if they are useful in any way.
contstructed them in a 400px window and scaled them down to 100x100px.

Re: Journey's End
What is going on here? Now, after hearing the final one, it feels round and good in my ears. Very good piece! I don't know if the first one is this different to the last one, but now it is top-notch.

Re: Journey's End
I am sorry, but i don't find it "top notch", to be true. It is technically well made, but the tune gives me nothing. I think it would be better to make it simpler. West is trying to try out too many things in this piece.

Re: The new Wesnoth logo and the Loyalist sigil
Hm. I don't want to seem rude, since you obviously have put some thought and work into the design of those two symbolic icons, but i think you are totally on the wrong way. I don't like them, because they remind me of symbols of churches or dictatory lands. Like you already said, the eye of sauron a...
