Rome
Well, in the series, Lucius is a standup guy. Family man, great soldier, honorable, religious, etc., a real embodiment of the Roman Dream. Titus is a horny brawling reprobate. I kinda reversed that in my concept. Titus is the thoughtful one, kind of a Hobbes to his commander's Calvin. Lucius has alw...

Lavinian Campaign
I am working on a Lavinian mini campaign right now. I lifted my names straight from HBO's series, Rome, although the characters are very different. You play Lucius Varinus, a Decurion who has been sent north to a backwards, unimportant post due to certain... indiscretions with a Centurion's daughter...

Auras: An abstraction of existing abilities
I was thinking about the illuminates, heals, cures and leadership abilities. These affect all six spaces around them in some way: illuminates changes the time, heals and cures affect units' hp, while leadership affects units' damage. Perhaps these could be abstracted into a single scriptable 'aura' ...

Great Scenario
Very interesting storyline. The maps were both visually and tactically interesting. Nice dialogue, polished language (with only a few minor spelling errors) and well done special effects. Very pretty custom trees in the swamp, very nice rain effect. Loved the book flipping effect on the intros. Rega...
