1) They are good.
2) I prefer Pierce to Impale.Fire is better than Heat.
3) Chemical is good, but Tear? Tear sound more like an ability, like X% to insta kill :)
4) Lightning? Cold could be water and include cold/ice?

How letting a random choose how your army will be is more srategic than choosing it yourself. You must adapt your play to the situation and your opponent, not to the random traits of your units. If you like random that much and think it make you think harder you should like that all recruited unit b...

Trait? Why traits? Whats the use of traits? Diversity?

I have a better idea, lets say the unit have 10-1, make it random(20)-random(2), lots of diversity.

I agree.
Something useful too would be an icon that tell you your network status, using maybe the current time minus the time of the last received packet.

Or maybe a command to ping the server, I found myself typing useless message to see if im still connected.

How its better to hit the demilich with a lvl2 unit for 9-3 than two level 1 unit for 6-3 each?

Its sure it can be advantageous to have stronger unit, but having a high numbers of units is advantageous too.

Sure, a higher level unit is occasionally worse than a lower level unit. This is very rare though. 'd like to see you give a specific example you've had in your play exerience where you would have rather had a level 1 unit than its level 2 upgrade. That would help the discussion greatly I believe. ...

The upkeep cost of a unit is only part of the cost of a unit: the other part is the cost of recruiting or recalling the unit. I can understand it if its the choice of te player to recruit the unit, upkeep is part of the price, take it or leave it. But as a result of leveling up its different, its i...

Yes, your prolly right the value of a level 2 unit is prolly more toward twice the one of a level one than I think. And if getting full HP at level up have been already discuted, fine, that was my goal here. Still I think its strange to win a fight cause some of your unit leveled at the good moment....

I played some and 2 points trouble me about the rules. 1. A unit get all his HP back when he level. Why? I remember again the Shock trooper going at me with little xp needed to level and telling me that I would have to kill him twice. Someone could argue that its part of the Wesnoth strategy. 2. Upk...

Ok, I fixed my problem. When I installed automake-1.9 it not overwrited the old version. So automake was still pointing to automake-1.4. I fixed that but I didnt know that it installed aclocal too, so aclocal was pointing to aclocal-1.4 and not aclocal-1.9. kkk, now it work.

My environment: Ubuntu 5.10 Automake 1.9.5 Autoconf 2.59 I have no problem compiling version 1.0.2 and 1.1.1. But I get that output running autogen.sh on svn. aclocal: configure.ac: 276: macro `AM_PROG_CC_C_O' not found in library configure.ac: no proper invocation of AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE was found. con...
