There was a promotion on a CD for 0.8.8. A mate of mine told me how good it was (bioman) and told me to get it. I did! Never regretted it, but then who ever regrets downloading a free game? They might not use it but rarely do people regret it! Anyway, my gratitude for this game is being posted *here...

I also get the crash in 'Under the Burning Suns' - whenever a message appears it crashes. It's getting very annoying :x

I hope another bug fixing development release comes out soon (1.1.2b)

Missing animation for Desert Hero

Desert Hero is missing a defending animation, I think. It constantly disappears when the enemy attacks it. You might also want to check other units along this branch for the same thing, eg desert champion. I have to say that Wesnoth is crashing more and has a lot more bugs in the latest release . . ...

Deoran disappears!

Deoran has no leadership animation for lvl1, and promptly flashes appearing and disappearing when leading a peasant in his battle!

Rather funny, but should be fixed. :P

I'm sorry to say that I don't like any of your ideas, except possibly the fist one with some tweaking.

Most of them are rather outlandish, and generally against the grain of Wesnoth style ideas. But that first one could work quite well.
