Re: Wesband, MP dungeon-crawler (now for Wesnoth 1.9.14+ !)
Woof, this is taking me back. I can't say for sure, but I would have to say that the first level down the road of something should lock you out of the other roads. It doesn't make sense to me that you'd be able to dip only once into a couple of them. So, yeah, your guess is probably correct.

Re: Wesband, MP dungeon-crawler (now for Wesnoth 1.9.14+ !)
I'll give it a shot!
EDIT: Wow, great job on the port! I never thought I'd play this again. Having not played Wesnoth in a long while, I can see some pain points that I never really realized before. Not that I have the time to really work on this, but it's fun to dream. Thanks for the update!

Ah, when you said "6 now" before, I thought you were referring to the 6 add-ons listed after "Developer of" in your signature. I'll definitely check out Strange Legacy first then.

Re: Wesband, MP dungeon-crawler (now for Wesnoth 1.9.14+ !)
Heindal, glad to hear I had some inspiration for your projects. Looking at your signature, I can see that you've been quite prolific! I should take a look at them sometime. I haven't even fired up Wesnoth in forever. Whew, I just took a stroll through memory lane with my Wesnoth wiki and the plannin...

Re: Wesband, MP dungeon-crawler (now for Wesnoth 1.9.14+ !)
Hey guys, since this gets bumped periodically, I just wanted to drop an official note on the state of Wesband. I'm not working on Wesband anymore, and I'm not planning to ever come back to it. I had an abundance of free time years ago, but that free time as almost all dried up to the point that it's...

Re: Wesband 0.6.1, improved inventory management
Hi, all. Thanks for the bug reports. Unfortunately, I'm kind of swamped with real life and I think Exasperation is too. Good eye, Brian_A, on that abilities spelling. I'm sure that's all that is. Maybe you could try to change it yourself and see if it improves. Shinobody: Those sprites look awesome ...

Re: Wesband 0.6.1, improved inventory management
That's really weird. If you've gone that far, you've obviously used [create_weapon] more than once by that point. I have no idea what would have caused that.

Re: Wesband 0.6.1, improved inventory management
Also, check and make sure all players have the same version of BfW. The last time this issue occurred, it turned out that BfW 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 were generating different random terrain variations, and getting everybody on the same version of BfW fixed it. If one of you had upgraded to 1.8.6 while the...

Re: Wesband 0.6.0, improved inventory management
The problem with auto-pickup would be if we wanted to implement some sort of weight/encumbrance system. However, not sure if we want develop current features while keeping in mind features that we're not 100% set on.

Re: Wesband 0.4.4, now with 4 players
It has been about 5 months since you posted, Ken_Oh. Are you still working on Wesband? I've been looking forward to progress on this project and I hope it hasn't disintegrated. Hey, Golbeeze! Yeah, I haven't exactly fallen off of the face of the earth, but, as Exasperation suspected, I got hit with...

Re: Level 0s for every Level 1 - Humans
I forgot to mention that I made a few different lvl 0s for Undead that got included in Wesband. There is the Walking Bones, a skeleton that can only punch, and the Spirit, a lvl 0 version of the Ghost. The Spirit used the old sprite version of the Ghost. The most difficult thing in making these unit...

Re: Level 0s for every Level 1 - Humans
Hey! Glad you like the idea. All of these have been incorporated into Wesband , which is kind of the reason why this specific project died, but, on the other hand, Wesband is exactly the kind of thing I wanted to use this project for in the first place. It would be nice to eventually move on to the ...

Can't code WML? Want someone else to make your content?
"The fact that you have no technical proficiency does not mean that your stat points went into creativity."
