Thank you - I retested with revision 48530 and the problem is fixed.

I have been unable to install wesnoth built from SVN for a number of days now. I made a clean checkout (rev 48529) and have exactly the same problem. Perhaps this would be easier to add as a new ability. Hitpoints and resistances would need to be rebalanced, but only for units with the new ability.
