JW, it appears to me now that I may have been rude posting my icon just after you without excuses! I think I have been working at this icon exactly at the same time than you! I'm sorry for that, I meant no offense. Thanks for the nice comments everybody! You're right with the hilt, but I won't be ab...

Well, as I did not understand that either, I also drew a brand new one! :D . I post it anyway, because I think it's a nice concept. Had I lived in Wesnoth, I would surely have created my startup with it. The concept is the following : wooden swords are subject to break. So this one is sold with a se...

Thanks guys! I have to say the link highlighted by wayfarer : http://www.itchstudios.com/psg/art_tut.htm was really useful (and particularly the radiosity paragraph, it's magic!)

This is a project I had for quite a time, as some may remember :) , but life heavily interfered. And I have no children yet  .

Hello there!

I'm not sure it quite fits the style, but it may be better than nothing.

Thank you! I couldn't even imagine that, it was very instructive. I prefer models with a big bow rather than the torsion ones, what do you think?

Hi there! After two monthes or three improving my skills in 3D 8) (just to reassure you, I just got from totally noob to clumsy), I felt like saying hello, and by the way asking someone for what (s)he considers being a historically/engineerily/physically/wesnothly correct ballista? I'd like to try o...

Hi Zhukov! I think sparr spoke to JW. And don't you have to blur your shadow a bit? That's what I had undestood I had to do. As a matter of fact I'm working on the Shifters units' art for the moment. I don't know JW point of view on that, but for a matter of consistency I should go on this alone. Th...

I don't think I'm highly skilled in anatomy or things like that, but the neck does feel weird to my eyes. I know it is a forbidden type of comment :P but it's very hard to explain. In a word I can't imagine a position, with any angle of the head, neck and shoulders, where the adam's apple is where i...

I personnaly find it to be vey well drawn, just a little point : aren't the little pieces of ice floating ice be to repetitive along a long fronteer, with always the same slope? Sorry I don't try it myself, I would have to but I don't have the time for the moment.

Hi Thrawn! I was planning to speak for one hour long of my vision of a feminine chin (which is personnal, so you may not share it), and decided that a 30 seconds hack of your drawing would talk better, so here it is : In a word : a changed th jawline (obviously :P ) and tweaked the upper lip a bit, ...
