Re: Some questions regarding Android version of BFW

Yay! Very happy to see that a port for Android has finally been released :)

I'm planning to grab it asap, but I was wondering who gets the money. Is it put into the Wesnoth Development fund or something? Or maybe spread among all the active devs?

Re: REQUEST Updates of old Lutesian Portraits

Btw, be aware that from the unofficial wesnoth gallery you can display images directly like so http://wesnoth.dbzer0.com/gallery/d/3189-1/human-bowman.png You can get preformated links by selecting to see the "direct links" of an item as in this case This means that you can upload images on the gall...

Re: Invasion from the Unknown (1.10.1a) for Wesnoth 1.5-1.6

Glad to see this working on 1.5.6. This is one of the main campaigns I wished to play and it's a nice opportunity to play the recent version of wesnoth as well. Fixed in SVN two minutes after the release. It was such a minor issue that I didn't bother to make 1.10.1b. ;) Ah, I had the same problem a...

Re: Forgotten Legacy - Unfinished (5 Scenarios Ready)

Thanks mate. I've already fixed the weapon attack in the svn but I never got around to updating the server version.

If you can help, I'll never say no as I think I'll never have the full incentive to finish it :(

Re: Forgotten Legacy - Unfinished (5 Scenarios Ready)

Thanks Mica. I do plan on finishing it but I need to get my motivation going first :)

Well, this part mainly
You also need to have a registered and enabled SourceForge.net account, and a registered SSH key on your account for use with Subversion client tools

Re: Coordinated User-made Content Development Project (with SVN)

Ah yeah. It was a bit confusing because the instructions mandated for a pgp key.

Re: Coordinated User-made Content Development Project (with SVN)

The only thing I can ran recommend is posting everything you did as exactly as possible here, we may have missed something on IRC. Installed subversion Sent the campaign to Shadow Master Once put as a member, uploaded my public ssh key to sourceforge Tested ssh key by successfully connecting to sou...

Re: Coordinated User-made Content Development Project (with SVN)

Unfortunately after 3 days I still cannot work with this. Either I have no commit access or some part of my setup is wrong but I don't know what. I hate to be a naysayer, but it seems to me that this method will be unusable by a campaign designer who has little familiarity with such processes. Not o...

Re: Of different approaches to scenario design

I also toyed around with making a scenario where you're given like 4 or 5 eventual penalties if you fail to block certain things happening (e.g. if you let the Elvish Rider escape the board, he'll return 4 turns later with a few Horsemen), and it would be virtually impossible to block every bad thi...

Re: Of different approaches to scenario design

I agree with much of what Zookeeper said as well as having a similar opinion to Ratha. I thoroughly enjoy scenarios where the storyline and dialogue are deep enough and that you get good enough twists in what you are expecting to happen. I thoroughly despise campaigns that that are comprised of doze...
