Re: A new terrain type?
My one comment is that the colors seem kind of………too saturated, maybe? It looks kinda like some of them are lit by the warm glow of sunset, or something. I know they're meant to be painted (or red brick), but maybe just tone that down a little bit? I feel like they kinda jar with the rest of the te...

Re: Travelling Tradesmen sprites
Maybe if they were doing something with the hand? Like had it resting on their hip, say.
Looking good!

Looks good! I imagine we'll be seeing these around in a number of addons, before long. My one comment is that the colors seem kind of………too saturated, maybe? Re: Vranca´s era artwork
I'm not sure I agree completely with the above, but yeah, the arm looked better as it was before. Why mess with that when the problems were with his hips and legs? Really, though, you might want to just move on and do another if you're starting to get tired of this one. It already looks much better ...

Re: Vranca´s era artwork
I think the main problem with the shadow is the implied angle of the light--the spear's shadow starts at its base, which is correct, but it ends too soon. In order for it to be that short, the light source would need to be up and to his left, but the rest of the shading indicates that it's up and to...

Re: My Terrain (Mine!)
Looks good! I like how the edges are hard on the long borders with grass, but with a little grass leaking over at the corners--kinda like a board lying on the ground with weeds starting to climb up over it in places. The cobbles leaking up over it……don't make quite so much sense to me. I guess it wo...

Re: Vranca´s era artwork
I prefer a.
I'm not really seeing it as foreshortened, but if you say so. Even so, I do feel like it (and the shoulder) are a little high up……I'm not sure about the arm,it's supposed to be almost stretched out

His spear-arm still hasn't changed……that's the only part that really bothers me.

Re: Vranca´s era artwork
Great work so far! This era is shaping up to be some good eye candy
Agreed with Dixie--the bottom one is nicer, but the shield's still all little close in. Also, his other arm is in kind of an awkward position……maybe lower his elbow a little?
Keep it up!

Re: Short piece
Thank you for your thoughts! You're right, orchestral music is……very much new to me. I've only been composing for a year or so, and almost all of what I've done has been for two or three strings, and even that was kind of confusing. Sound engineering is even newer. I will keep working on it (my comp...

Re: Short piece
Now I'm extremely embarrassed--first I botched the upload, and then I managed to post the wrong file. I don't like that any more than you two, and I would never have posted that here on purpose, given the style of Wesnoth's music. And yes, I do know some amount of theory, but that was a case of just...

Re: Short piece
Sorry about that--it worked for me last night, but now it's broken. Weird.
