Re: The Era of Myths art project thread
I'm sorry to be dropping in like this (was in the neighbourhood and thought I'd say 'hi'), but I have to say that the Moonblade's blade is... well... butt-ugly.
I don't want to flame or anything and I realize that my sprites aren't that good as well... but seriously?

Re: The Era of Myths art project thread
M'kay. I think he's buff enough at this moment. I meant that it would also be a good idea to define his furr some more, by using highlights for example. As of now it looks as he's wearing a tight, black leotard. If you add a bit more texture to his fur (have some hairs stink out for example) this pr...

Re: The Era of Myths art project thread
Yah, it's too skinny. I know that you're going for the sneaky backstabbing type, but those can be a little bit more buff. I'd also give him some more highlights, try to define his fur a bit more and all.
Looks good otherwise.
Teamcolour placement is a bit akward though.

Re: The Era of Myths art project thread
k, I'll follow your advice in some parts, but I think you are acting under a misinterptretation. Black furs arn't like dwarves, they are small, and thus slower than the other warg, but they arn't sturdy. Blackfurs are steath hunters. Just for rough comparison. Warrior Wolf cost 17 (maybe going down...

Re: The Era of Myths art project thread
Try making it more compact. It's not necessary that all the limbs 'stick out', it's ok for some to not break the block. Right now it's not a really calm, idle stance, but more of a YMCA-dancing-cowboy stance. Shorter legs and arms that are but a tad longer will help as well. Also, I thought you want...

Re: The Era of Myths: 2 years old, handing over for a while.
There are two problems with that Firstly the therians are also (hopefully) going to get edited to look very diffrent, and give a diffrent impression. Secondly the roll I'm trying to get this to fill does not fit well with the base therian, unless you want a redundant aura wave. The shape shifters p...

Re: The Era of Myths: 2 years old, handing over for a while.
I always liked the shapeshifter concept/backstory. And, to be honest, I'd like to keep that backstory/concept, if you don't mind to much... If you don't remember: The shapeshifters were Therians who decided to embrace their bestial natures a bit more. So they wandered off to the woods and hills to l...

Re: The Era of Myths: 2 years old, handing over for a while.
That suggestion sounds good weeksy, however I'm begining to wonder why the Therians need to come from wensnoth, I don't think that it would be at all problematic to just revise Therian lore of that one point, and start with a clean slate on a new world with as much room for expansion as anyone want...

Re: The Era of Myths art project thread
I think it's a good idea. Would just recolouring the current units be enough?

Re: The Era of Myths: 2 years old, handing over for a while.
Warg vs Warg (hunting/territory rights) I don't feel that this is very much in line with their concept. Sure, there are different packs and tribes that have their respective domains with set boundries. But the Warg are a proud and honourfull people who respect their brethren. I don't exclude the po...

Would you also be so kind to check out their movetype? It's pretty sweet compared to the orc's.lightdragonx wrote:uhhh i think warg is unbalanced because their warrior wolves have the same stats as the orcish grunt but cost five more gold can you either reduce the cost or upgrade the stats please?

Re: The Era of Myths art project thread
Just notice that my internet died on me (working from a college computer now), so I won't be able to frequent this forum, let alone update any sprites.
I'll be back, though.

Re: The Era of Myths art project thread
M'kay, do you also have some constructive comments as to how I could improve it? As in, what part is poorly drawn and why, 'cause, you know, it doesn't really help me improve to only hear "that sucks".
