Clans make in general only sense if there is a rating system, which is not (and that's great) or if there were tournaments from time to time (imho that's the better way of competition compared to rating). I played RTS-games for many years... in this games it's important to have a good team but in TB...

I read about Wesnoth on holarse.de, a german linux-gaming-site.
I don't like fantasy very much (I would prefer historical strategy games), but Wesnoth surprised me in a positive way.
So far it's imho the best TBS for linux.

1) Checking the team message button when sending a message will send it to only your team. I meant the main lobby on the server... so that's possible to speak in private to another user (before or after a game) 2) Diplomacy is in general a bad idea.
