Imperial Era at .jconserv were too unstable and suffered continually crashes, so nothing was able to be saved from there discussion wise. So the original planning of the fiach dubh was lost.

The Fiach Dubh was roughly designed by Maeglin Dubh literraly upon Fiach Dubh's arrival to the forum. I see it as a tribute imo.

Uh, yeah. I mean, his melee should be a weak dagger of some sort. He spends most of his time making it snow on the enemy, rather than getting into fights. If such unit were to exist as you put it, a quick moving, high defense unit, with high ZoC. That'd cost alot, and for it to move quickly it would have to have low defense, otherwise it'd be to slow to get to defend those certain points.

I'd have to agree with Weeksy on how it is, the realism makes sense enough to me. Besides it works, so it's fine. Changing that little resistance could destroy the whole entire game as we know it. :twisted:

I like the idea of essence drain. But doing a right click change is deadly, a level one changling, forming into a level 3 Royal Guard is the problems for balancing. But the unit could simply have a level limit, only able to change into something it's own level.

Only other healing tiles I could think of are perhaps springs, or glades. Something that is already related to being magical, and unless someone wants to create terrain for this, I dont see it.

Besides, UtBS already implemented the healing tiles, with water healing you from the harsh deserts.

Healing gives Exp

One thing that always annoys me in this game, is how healing doesn't give Exp. If the unit is designated as a healer, should he not get experience from that instead of just casting magic and whacking people with his staff. The unit would get experience simply learning new and better techniques to us...
