Re: longwinded nonsense

OP condemnation of a common term stems from ignorance, resulting in short-sighted and misleading message. No points are awarded due to lack of brevity.

Re: Magical Attack Icons (part 4 added)

Re: What is the appeal of a rogue-like game?

Not all roguelikes are incredibly punishing or reward only system mastery.

There are those like Brogue that even a beginner can get into - streamlined controls, modernized interface, aim for fairness in exploration and tactical combat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPecWWceAWM

A few months ago I joined an alpha sandbox mmo as an artist. Just came across an old screenshot from before I started.

Re: The User Art Topic

:x Largely unproductive past two hours, filled with fits and false starts. Trying to block out a basic shaman animation, but not overcoming "the suck" that seems to pervade our current sorceress animation (which I need to replace). The "jump + strike-as-you-fall" is something I'...

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series

The cross will remain cross-shaped. What the lineart doesn't include yet is cuneiform engraving (I'll be using that font TSI proposed) on the cross that should dissipate any association with christianism. Said engraving is planned to have an unnatural gleam that will clearly claim magic's at work. ...

Re: The User Art Topic

I remember seeing a tutorial like this that went on to describe a fighting game character called Makoto that deformed a lot in her animations to give them a smooth feeling, but I can't for the life of me find it now. :hmm: I wouldn't mind seeing that. There -is- a street fighter character named Mak...
