Re: Merry Christmas

if you move your leader to the clean canvas hex, it becomes a castle hex. That stopped working after my leader reached level 2. Is this intentional ? While playing this addon in BfW 1.9.9, the logfile stderr.txt fills up with many errormessages: 20110911 17:37:51 error config: Illegal tile in map: ...

The Invincible Wall

Trying "The Invincible Wall" on BfW 1.9.9, and got these errors on start: 20110910 22:16:23 error config: Macro/file 'DEFEAT_CONDITION' is missing at ~add-ons/The_Invincible_Wall/scenarios/1_Elvish_Invasion.cfg:127 included from ~add-ons/The_Invincible_Wall/_main.cfg:58 20110910 22:16:23 error confi...

Re: 1.9/1.10 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising

I'm running BfW 1.9.9, and after downloading your addon 1.3.13, I get several popups with an errormessage every time the game starts. From stderr.txt: 20110910 22:40:23 error config: Macro/file '~add-ons/Archaic_Era/installed.cfg' is missing at ~add-ons/Bad_Moon_Rising/_main.cfg:26 20110910 22:40:23...

Re: Wesnoth 1.9.9 / translation

I found a small issue with translations in Help/Contributions, about 3/4 down. The titles are listed as "Kampagnengestaltung" etc, which should be shown as "Campaindesign" etc. Systemdefault is German, but I selected English/GB. Happens also for English/US, French, etc. Also, after switching to fren...

Re: Wesnoth 1.9.0

On Win2000 (with SP4), the program does not start, gives a message like
"Entrypoint freeaddrinfo not found in dll WS2_32.DLL".

Wesnoth 1.8.4 on the same machine still runs ok.

Re: Wesnoth 1.8.0

I have been (re)installing a PC for a family-member over the weekend (P4, 2.7GHz, RAM 512MB, WinXP), and so I put the fresh BfW 1.8.0 on it. The option-dialog worked flawlessly, but starting the tutorial hung the machine while "create cache" was about 30% done. I.e. after a coffeebreak (about 10 min...

It simply crashes wesnoth, without giving any reasons. Any ideas?
Did you try to remove that healer, or add a shaman to the recruit-list ?

Which one is the testscenario?
There is only one testscenario, and the option "-t" starts the program with it.

Re: Music on/offf

Tom of wesnoth wrote:Can you turn the music on and offf?
From the main-menu: Preferences, then select the tab "Sound".
During a game: Ctrl-P gets you into the preferences-dialog.
Other: Ctrl-M to mute all sound.

On the help-page about the unit.
You can also get there via the "Profile"-button in the recruit/recall-dialogs,
the unitlist and the level-up - dialog.

Type ":clear"
You can also define a hotkey (such as F9) for "clear messages".
