The lack of eyes definitely helps.
I wouldn't worry about the blood thats there now. If anything, the old ghoul was a little more disturbing.

Look at this . Look at the files listed as Fantasygamegraphics 1&2. I remembered I had seen these a while back. They're some good overhead graphics, a good example for what I assume your trying to get at. Though they're a little more 3d, less...

He's talking about his avatar picture.

The first thing you should do is probably add some shading to that skin. You got it pretty good on the tree.

2 things. One, they're hexes not squares, and two, that is basically a "ranged" or "multihex" attack (ability in this case) which is forbidden.

Otherwise its an interesting unit.

First of all " :!: " is used to mean excitement not a question (is this a full campaign...!!!). This might also better be placed in the development forum, don't you think?
As for the actual question, I can't help you sorry.

How much effectiveness your leader has depends partly on how you play. Its true they don't do much else than sit there and recruit, if thats all you do with them. You should look at them as an strong, extra unit, though one that you want to keep from being killed. It is an interesting idea, but it d...

You mentioned a global domination storyline, or universal. That could just as easily be done in Wesnoth right now. It might take a bit of work to make a changeble-in-game storyline, but still there is no reason to create an entirely new game.

The dress kinda needs to be red; better conveys the sense of blood.
Fingernails are good addition, but they look rather clumped together, blurry

The straps on the dress (usefull or not) are at slightly the wrong angle.

Don't want to discoruage you, but thats what I think about it.

People would still develop factions, of course, but they would exist in their own world, not in Wesnoth... if Wesnoth becomes too crowded, it becomes a random hodge-podge of factions. Or, if not they're own world, at least their own time period. It's good that they're creating some factions of anci...

"how to fight and make capitulate{surrender} the princess of wesnot?"

Sorry, I don't have any for you.

Another part of the point is that a unit line shouldn't end at level one. Even though it does have one before it, it needs one after or next to it to fit with the way the rest of the factions are set up.

Looks great so far. I don't really agree on the 'retro' thing, but whatever. The more Wesnoth, helped or inspired,(or some verb... o well) games out there the better. Just one thing, what is with that icon???
