Well, dude, sure everyone can make a comment about how some of units portraits/graphics sux arse and are bad in general, but in similar way everyone can respond sarcastically or ironically. Without even reasoning their point. And I'm not gonna reason them, as I don't feel you reasoned anything enoug...

Not to stop the wonderful advancement of this conversation, But real life "photographies" of Elvish archers tend to be in short supply...
Peter Jackson can prove it wrong.

Yes...the questions are too much game related. I liked Flametrooper's quiz much better.

Though you can give this quiz to newcomers who don't know yet, which factions suits their gamestyle :P

But of course! We will replace them with photographies of real life units.

This image is hilarious.

Still I rarely see HI in multiplayer matches. I don't think that not being able to move through mountains is really a problem here.

There are some clans but, it's rather a group of friends who like to play together. Like N3t clan that says "no" to 1v1v1 games or guys who play without fow.

One of the reasons why I like cavalrymen so much-they're fairly good at dealign with woses, and they are somewhat more effective on undead than spearmen of bowmen. Of course, a mage is a better answer to woses, and Heavy infantry for undead. A mage is horrible at defending against woses, and cavalr...

So if HI will be able to cross mountains at 1 tile per turn he won't be a meatbag to other units?

Somehow people decided to explain everyone what term "n00b" means. Weird. I thought everyone in multiplayer game community has a general idea what the word means. Anyway I don't use it, either someone's a newbie, newcomer or just an idiot (for anyone who feeds their ego with being rude and trying to...

Actually most multiplayer games I play have either negative or positive EV and that's why I only play wesnoth from time to time. Sometimes I like this system, sometimes not. Certainly, "Great luck situations" happen in most inappropriate situations. Wesnoth has way too few units in each game, to mak...

If you choose a Paladin over Grand Knight, you make a tactical choice of choosing arcane damage instead of slashing. If you choose Pillager you made a choice of sacrificing slash damage for fire and ranged (apart from other differences). That's why I don't think your idea is necessary.

A intelligent bat can level up after one kill on 70% xp settings. A bat without intelligent can level up after one kill and 2 fights. And it's not hard to survive 2 fights with 60% defense on any terrain.

Personally I think that 60% defense and traits is a bit too much. Either one way or another.
