Re: McDonald's possibly under Lawsuit for Happy Meals

I everyone, and this sort of crap is why. It doesn't matter if it is about kids, because THE CHILDREN AREN'T THE ONES PAYING FOR IT. It is entirely on the heads of the parents to make sure the child eats correctly. And if your kid ends up hating you because they missed out on a toy costing a few cen...

Yes, yes it does. Great game, but I've seen it last well over 6 hours. In fact, most people can't set it up in less than an hour.

Re: Mount and Blade

Make it so cavalry isn't so overpowered. make it so there's more than one ladder in sieges/spearmen don'tsuck horribly and die. I'd steal some things from thebattle for sicily/last days mods. And the calradia at war mod- ther'd be barriers and wooden walls you could bash away in cities, destroyable ...

Re: Saurian Societies

So you're telling me that spartan society did not boil down to creating soldiers who lived and died to fight for the state? there may have been more to it, but it seems that was largely what it existed to do. I'm aware that my summary of athens it too simplistic. But that seems to be what athens tho...

Re: Saurian Societies

If you want an explation of bronze age vs iron age: Bronze age socities could work bronze into tools, and weapons, effectivley. Iron age societies would do this with iron, which was stronger when worked with their more advanced metallurgy/forging techniques. Other things tended to be more advanced a...

Re: What are you reading right now?

The camulod chronicles. I can't remember the actual names, but I'm amazed at the authors skill in managing to create a good historical basis for the king arthur stuff. A little annoyed at his failure to understand that arrows ripping through mail armor isn't true, but I was able to forgive him. I'm ...

A lavinian. Noting quite like charging into a horde of barbarians and killing them all. plus, seeing some romans would do the modern world some good- they knew how to actually get stuff done.* And you don't need to be an elf to use a bow- only drakes don't use bows, bet hey- theyr're probably dieing...

Vista basic edition. None of that ram wasting aero crap on my pc. I love it- It's like an upgraded XP, with some of the useful traits of apple? The following application wants to modify your program files: "trojan of death 9000!" do you wish to allow it? No. No, I do not. Non basic likely ...

I remeber that was the goal with the lavinians for a while- didn't work out well.

Doin gthis now would result in haveing to completely redo them I suspect, and since they'll never, ever, ever, figth each other, why bother?

That's right, long. Unless you're using an old version of Wesnoth you can't retaliate against me. 8) I'll just use a few lavinians from a few IE versions back- so I can retaliate just... nobody else. :D Well, I'd be able to recruit legion units, Saving elensfar units, dwarves, Loyalists and have th...

Maybe you didn't notice, but this game and its units have nothing to do with final fantasy. oh, and all fantasy games/rpgs are liars. Whatever they say a unit is, they either made up the name, or are wrong. So you don't want to go around claiming that units are/aren't something based on such games. :x
