Re: Split off the music from the wesnoth .rpm/.deb in linux?

And actually this question makes more sense in some forum of your distribution or even as a feature request in their bug tracker. True. Of course RPM can recommend packages too, and yes, I have to say I haven't thought about that when writing my first post, and yes it would be an acceptable solutio...

Re: Wesnoth 1.4.1

I feel that for v1.4 it would be better to find some way to just send across the changed/new files (eg. as an update installer package) as the downloads tend to be big (140 MB....) and this is whipping up a huge broadband/phone bill for many (including me :-) openSUSE Buildservice will hopefully in...

Re: Wesnoth 1.4

Geos, do you have OpenSUSE 10.3? If you don't add any additional repositories, yast will present you what's on the installation media. By the time of making 10.3 this was Wesnoth 1.2 as the current stable version. Just take a look here to get the newest stuff for OpenSUSE: http://www.wesnoth.org/wik...

So many thanks to all the developers, translators and artists to get 1.4 out of the door. A great release once again proving the high quality of this game.

Yes I know it took a whole lotta time, but finally opensuse packages are done. Two things blocked me from updating: New Years parties and a blocker bug in the opensuse buildservice which is finally fixed now, so expect me to be on time with upcoming releases! :)

And yes, I know that there is an error in packaging with wesnoth-data-full / base currently, as "full" contains next to no data. This will be changed to have only one data package very soon.

Re: Offering Assistance Rolling RPMs for OpenSuse 10.2
