Geos, do you have OpenSUSE 10.3? If you don't add any additional repositories, yast will present you what's on the installation media. By the time of making 10.3 this was Wesnoth 1.2 as the current stable version. Just take a look here to get the newest stuff for OpenSUSE: http://www.wesnoth.org/wik...

Yes I know it took a whole lotta time, but finally opensuse packages are done. Two things blocked me from updating: New Years parties and a blocker bug in the opensuse buildservice which is finally fixed now, so expect me to be on time with upcoming releases!

And most linuxusers will use their package managers anyway. Eg the dbian and the gentoo package are directly added in there.
