The server has enabled a keep alive feature that sends packets if the connection is idle. We've now lowered the timeout from 2 hours to 30 seconds. The 1.14 server has already been restarted. Please report if that helps without the bot workaround.

To enter your username and password manually, you would unselect the option in Preferences > Multiplayer > Save password locally (encrypted). If that option was already not selected, then the connection error was happening before the server requested your username+password. Thank you for this sugge...

One thing to be aware of when changing the version scheme is that there is code in wesnoth and auxiliary scripts that is based on the current version scheme.

The chance that we'll include the Dunefolk into default with not at least renaming current default and keeping it under a different name is very small. If the old french translation maintainer is not active anymore and cannot be reached you could become the new maintainer and coordinate translations with the other active translators.

Actually there must be a filter that when writting ladder, (L), non ladder, etc. in the title of the game, it is not saved in http://replays.wesnoth.org/1.8/. Administrators should change this. Do not know if this is possible and conditions for this... In ladder web would not be uploaded the replay...

Change the lobby_refresh key in data/game_config.cfg. The value is in milliseconds.
