The lines on his belly make him looks a bit thin and skeletal. Other that that, great work. You're style seems to involve more detail per pixel than my brain can handle though. =)

I didn't know you could have units face more directions than left and right.

The faction-specific music is a little irritating to me, since it is so short and the AI doesn't let me hear anything but the very beginning of the song, so even if they were totally awesome I'd end up hating them after awhile. Warcraft 3 with the Frozen Throne expansion pack has an hour and a half ...

My only complaint on Lisar is that I can't tell where one leg begins and another ends. It all just looks like one leg with an extra boot sticking out somewhere behind... In combination with the placement of the rear boot it makes her leg/legs confusing. Took me awhile to notice it. Great job otherwi...

Meh, I'd like to be able to see the projectiles and making such an animation would be a lot of work for something that still isn't perfect.

In any case, I'm following Dave's advice and I'm going to worry about it later. I'll keep that option in mind but it'll be a backup plan for sure.

Giving 10+ units exactly the same ability is boring. Sure some might do more damage than others, but the entire idea leaves all the interesting weapons to the ranged realm. But at the same time you would limit what makes those weapons interesting, and thus you end up crippling a major part of the ga...

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure before I ran into this that this wasn't something no one would be ever willing to handle. I couldn't stand working on it otherwise. Yeah, I'm a perfectionist.

Changing BFW into Mr. Bob's Game O Fishin' is "theoretically" possible. I'm interested in what's practical.

Changing close-range combat bobbing

I was thinking about Spacenoth (there's a thread in the ideas forum for those interested) when I realized there was a nasty graphical problem I'd have to deal with: Close-range attacks make units bob back and forth. A space version of BFW would feel very ridiculous with giant dreadnaughts bobbing ba...

lol, that entire thing was a joke. The image I put in is black but the game glitched so that whatever was on the previous screen appeared faded into the next. If you just look that's deep water behind the snowy stars. Yeah. It was funny seeing units move too. You could see each frame pasted on the n...

Since no one else seems to have any gameplay ideas, I figured that I better post those that I have. I think that the terrain should give defense towards the extremes than BFW, though 75-80% defense should definately be the maximium. Ships with the same type of equipment will do the same damage per a...

You must remember that the internet is a textual medium... It's much harder to pick up stuff like sarcasm, not to mention the fact that I hardly know you. It's why people invented emotion tags and smilies to help it along. In any case, I shall not take your lack of graphical or coding ability as an ...

I wasn't around to experiance the whole gun-removing thing, and someone ELSE had said that it was flame war, so that's what I assumed it to be. They also posted what they thought was the conclusion to it. Someone doubted the validity of that conclusion... that the thunderer had a thunderstick, which...

Seeing as how a forum post buried deep inside the enclave of these forums has no effect whatsoever on what the masses think my point still stands. Unless you make it explicitly clear in the game that the gun is not a gun the masses will not realize it and, for all intents and purposes, it's a gun. S...

Yet, no matter what you say, 99% of players who play BFW think that the thunderer wields a gun. If you tell them that no, it uses runecraft or whatever, I can bet you that most would say "sure, but it looks like a gun." "Thunderstick" is what a stereotypical primitive person says...

Wait, so are you guys thinking of having the space people fighting on the planet or in space? I was thinking of a simple outer-space mod myself but became frustrated with the lack of anything day-night, leveling up, and terrain (I mean, how many different types of "terrain" ARE there in sp...
