Re: Non-leading leaders?

I note that neither the Elvish high lord or the Dwarven lord have the leadership ability. I realise that the game has been balanced to the current stats, but that seems a strange omission. Shouldn't all the factions' high level leaders (except maybe the orcs and undead) have leadership? If you cons...

Why not just highlight in red (or some contrasting color) the hex that a recruited/recalled unit would be summoned to while the dialog is presented? (assuming you can move the dialog ?!?! )

4) I find Elvish Riders to be pretty useful when levelled up. Also, if you level a Horseman, don't go the Lancer route. I'm not sure what the point of that unit even is... It can kill strong units in one turn (13-3 charge, if the enemy is in a week position (say < 50% defense) he'll die) Lancers ar...

How do you level up Konrad? I need him in the capitol to recruit/recall troops. I've hit the same wall in Elsenfar that the original poster did, playing on Normal difficulty. It's very frustrating, personally I think the difficulty ramps up a bit too steeply on this map. I've dropped back to the Ba...

I notice a lot of the plans that you want to work on will be dedicated to improving the multiplayer game. As I understand it, most of the developers say that Wesnoth was and is designed for Single Player mode, with multiplayer being added as an extra feature. It seems that more and more new players...

Continue to make Wesnoth more extensible as a game engine. Multiplayer campaigns (built upon the KISS principle, of course) Continue to improve artwork & music nitpick: Rework or get rid of the "undo move" feature (not KISS enough, too many exceptions when you cant undo) A "second...

Here's the thing. The layout was designed based on KONRAD . With the way it is now, there is no reason to have the title on the right. Center it and make it big. There is no reason to have a column of buttons on the right. Center it or split it up and center it. The layout is non-sensical now. For ...

Obviously, the ideal solution is to sort the saves by campaign, and possibly (although I don't think so) by date. Personally, I think that is one of the features we must have in by 2.0*. ;) *: Along with an improved campaign server, different rooms in the MP server lobby, MP moderators put into pla...

I think organizing by campaign folders is as far as I want to go. Beyond that, I think each player can be responsible for organizing scenario saves by date and time because I believe that such a feature would be rarely used. I could be wrong. I think that most people don't replay scenarios 3-4 time...

Dealing with tons of save game files is a pain!

One of the biggest hassles for me when playing any TBS such as Wesnoth is organizing my save games. For example, I don't shoot straight through a campaign, I go back and replay old scenarios to see if I can do better. I may play "Seige of Elensefar" 3 or 4 times until I am happy. During th...

There already exists issues with the current "highlighting" in terms of color conflicts with terrain types. The idea to add different coloring schemes for the "tactical" features of a hex may just make the aforementioned problem worst. I could see "green" having meaning...

Re: Yes...

...that's how we all started. But how often can you play HttT? It's so much better to start with some understanding and skills. You don't have to finish Battle World, just learn from it. It's enough to set as a goal the eradication of the group next to you, then replay against other races. You get ...
